Platform context

Athena.live provides event creation, ticketing, registration, payment, check-in, analytics, marketing, organizer profile, and support tools.

Organizers remain responsible for their events, policies, content, attendees, venues, compliance obligations, and event-day operations.

1. Who May Use Athena.live

  • You must be able to form a binding agreement and use Athena.live only for lawful purposes.
  • Accounts must contain accurate information, and you are responsible for activity under your login, API tokens, and connected organizer profiles.
  • Athena.live may refuse, suspend, or terminate access where use creates legal, security, payment, fraud, safety, or platform integrity risk.

2. Organizer Responsibilities

  • Organizers control their event pages, pricing, ticket inventory, attendee communications, admission rules, refund policies, tax obligations, permits, age limits, venue requirements, accessibility details, and event operations.
  • Organizers must honor tickets sold through Athena.live, keep event information accurate, and promptly communicate cancellations, material changes, entry requirements, and refund instructions.
  • Organizers are responsible for obtaining rights, licenses, releases, permissions, insurance, and third-party approvals needed for their events and event content.

3. Tickets, Orders, and Attendee Terms

  • A ticket is a limited license to attend the applicable event, subject to the organizer's event terms, venue rules, and these Terms.
  • Athena.live may provide digital tickets, QR codes, registration forms, attendee records, transfer controls, check-in tools, and order confirmations, but organizers remain responsible for producing and admitting the event.
  • Attendees must provide accurate registration and payment information and may not misuse tickets, duplicate admission credentials, evade purchase limits, or interfere with check-in.

4. Fees, Payments, Refunds, and Chargebacks

  • Paid tickets may include Athena.live service fees, payment processing fees, taxes, and other disclosed charges.
  • Payment processing may be handled by third-party providers such as Stripe. Their terms may apply to payment, payout, identity, fraud, and compliance workflows.
  • Unless Athena.live states otherwise, organizers set and administer refund policies. Athena.live may withhold, reverse, offset, delay, or recover funds when needed for refunds, disputes, chargebacks, fraud, legal compliance, or platform protection.

5. Prohibited Events and Conduct

  • You may not use Athena.live for unlawful, deceptive, violent, hateful, harassing, exploitative, infringing, unsafe, or fraudulent activity.
  • You may not sell illegal goods or services, regulated items without required approvals, counterfeit tickets, unauthorized raffles or gambling products, or events that create unacceptable safety, payment, sanctions, or reputational risk.
  • You may not scrape the service, bypass security, submit malicious code, abuse APIs, spam attendees, impersonate others, or collect attendee data without a lawful basis and appropriate notice.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

  • You keep ownership of event content you submit, but grant Athena.live the rights needed to host, display, promote, process, translate, resize, index, and distribute that content in connection with the service.
  • You represent that your content does not violate law or third-party rights. Athena.live may remove or restrict content that appears to violate these Terms or creates risk.
  • Athena.live's software, design, trademarks, workflows, APIs, and platform content are owned by Athena.live or its licensors and may not be copied except as allowed by these Terms.

7. Platform Availability and Changes

  • Athena.live may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue features, integrations, APIs, pricing, or eligibility rules as the platform evolves.
  • We work to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, specific sales results, or that every event will be discoverable.
  • Beta, experimental, automation, analytics, and AI-assisted features may be changed or withdrawn and should be reviewed by the organizer before relying on their output.

8. Disclaimers, Liability, and Indemnity

  • Athena.live is provided as-is and as-available to the maximum extent permitted by law.
  • Athena.live is not responsible for organizer-run events, venue conditions, attendee conduct, third-party services, payment-provider decisions, tax advice, legal advice, or offline incidents.
  • You agree to defend and indemnify Athena.live from claims, losses, liabilities, fees, and expenses arising from your events, content, purchases, misuse of the service, legal violations, or breach of these Terms.

9. Updates and Contact

  • We may update these Terms by posting a revised version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
