• Third-party data: information from integrated services (such as calendars, CRM, ATS, or social networks) when you authorize connections, as well as publicly available data or data received from clients, employers, and partners.

• Employers and recruiters: When you apply to or engage with opportunities, the relevant hiring teams may receive your profile, résumé, messages, and associated materials.
• Service providers: We engage trusted vendors to assist with hosting, analytics, communications, payment processing, security, customer support, and other operations. Providers access information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf.
• Affiliates and business transfers: We may share information with our corporate affiliates or in connection with mergers, acquisitions, financing, or dissolution events, subject to this Policy or a successor policy that offers at least the same level of protection.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Athena, our users, or the public.
• With your consent: We may share information for any other purpose disclosed at the time of collection or with your direction or consent.

We do not sell personal information for advertising purposes.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, fulfill contractual obligations, comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We may retain cached or backup copies for a limited period consistent with our business continuity practices.

You may request deletion of your account by contacting privacy@athena.live. We may retain certain information as required by law, to prevent fraud and abuse, or for legitimate business purposes.

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, segmented infrastructure, and monitoring. No security measures are infallible, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for promptly notifying us of any suspected unauthorized access.

• Access, verify, correct, or update personal information we hold about you;
• Request deletion or restriction of certain personal information;

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any update signifies acceptance of the revised Policy.
